Jon Nakamoto, M.D., Ph.D. and a Managing director of Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute, will tell the story of a customer turnaround. Quest Diagnostics identified its customer’s pain points and delivered new insights into their business. In this session, Jon will speak about transforming the initially, dissatisfied large customer into a delighted partner.
By thinking laterally, collaborating with selected customers and using Tableau Software, Quest Diagnostics shared its learnings and from a selected customer, realized a 25% increase in revenue by the end of 2007. Selected Quest Diagnostics customers also realized internal opportunities such as improved logistics efficiency, more rational physician ordering patterns, and improved understanding of system-wide utilization for better business decision making.
